The house is a mess because I am moving out (Divorce) Looking at all the stuff I have picked up over the years. Most of which I don't really need. Books I haven't read, cd's not played for years.
I wrote this as I am in the process of breaking up after being married for 10 years. And lots of memories are buried in these 'things'. My most important 'possession' about to be lost. Will miss you K :(

I wasn't exactly in the vid making frame of mind. So forgive my indulgences. And I do hate being in front of the camera. But it is what it is. ( My ex doesn't want to be filmed. Quite rightly.) The split is an amicable one thankfully.
So why make the vid?.. To remember the feelings within these walls, before I forget them.
Hope the visuals wont get in the way of the music. But it will...
Suddenly 'things' don't mean that much to me anymore...

Thanks to all looking out for me. For watching and commenting. It means more to me than you will ever know. I will be ok soon enough. I am never down for long.
Peace to you all.

Oh boy !! What do I say about this one...
I was at my lowest. Getting ready to split from my Wife for 10 years (the right thing in hindsight) but I needed to channel my energy into something. Making a vid helped a lot. I wanted to record where I was, to look back at it in time and remember the feelings, the mood of the house. Do I regret it? No. It somehow stopped me from moping about. The messages of support helped to. Didn't really expect them, to be honest.
Writing the music got my mind off things a bit. But it does capture some of the mood.
Ok, enough yapping.
A strange vid. Can't believe it's me....
The Vid was dedicated to a pal who has since blocked me (not sure why, but it doesn't really matter), showing that different people drift in and out of our lives. It is the way of things.

  • This was so sad Andy :,(

  • @BjavaBbotBme It was a while ago. Time heals. But it was a personal vid.

Thanks for watching it Lady B.

  • ouch, I know how that feels... I hope you brought the 2560 laughs book with you ;)

  • @analogic10 I was so down when I made that. I was looking for the nearest bridge. But one year on, it was the right thing for both of us. I look back at it, and it's another guy. i always find ways to entertain myself, so I m never down for long. (That washing machine door annoyed me though) lol Thanks for watching Ana !!!!!! :))))))))))))))))

  • This is such a sad video Andy, its no fun separating from someone you were very close to,

especially when you lived with them...

Tough stuff, you are brave to post something so personal.

    xo, Ami

  • Was a tough vid to make. Tried to capture where i was/am. Hopefully things will be brighter soon. Glad I did it. The music somehow caught the mood. Thanks for watching, and caring too.

  • Quite a moving video. Always hard to break up. I see you made this back in November I hope things have improved for you. When I saw the scene of you sitting with that mountain of books behind you I thought then that a clear out is just what is needed, it can be very therapeutic, just a bit sad that a break up facilitated that process. I liked the scenes of books close up, seeing their titles is like a biography of their owner.

  • You are welcome. Take care...

  • @avisualfeel Thanks for watching. The healing is beginning, even though when I made that I was in a very dark world. Lost and very much alone. Time heals. Your comments are appreciated. Andy

  • Traveling with u through your books & bk again/ the world slows dwn to a grinding halt/ the washing machine closes or not it doesn't really matter/ I've been there more than once/ ...& somehow it passes...& we all move on...
