  • @bumblebeecbr - To "prime" a foam pad, you want to cover the surface of the pad with a thin layer of which ever product you're using at the time so as to prevent "dry-buffing" which instills marring. Use your thumbs to work in product to cover the entire surface of the pad that will touch the car. Don't saturate it, just work it in so that it's covered lightly. Hope that helps.

  • @4jiggy1 - Not sure why you're asking that. You never do the entire panel at a time when polishing. You polish in sections and we did actually polish the entire side of the car from the roof to the bottom of the rocker panels. Any painted part on the car was polished. I was just showing how to polish one small section at a time.

  • Adrock2003 is also me. Lol Figured I should let everyone know that. ;)

  • Too slow....

  • how the hell u suppose to do ur roof with that machine and that precision ?

  • How big are the peas you eat?? Ha

  • Good work man, just goes to show that the new Griots, and other high powered DA machines are very capable tools, when used for proper paint correction.

  • hey dude! good vid. i wanna give you some pointers. you should use less polish for such a small area, the polish really needs to brake down and should turn praticly invisible/blurry instead of a layer. it'll be a lot easier to remove afterwards. try to polish at a lower speed 3 - 4? it won't make such a mess, but you can apply a bit more pressure for the same pace of working. in this method, you can polish the entire car before removing any polish! I polished over 400 cars so, time = money!!!

  • how come you are not doing the bottom panell?

  • how are you suppose to "prime" a pad. I just got a new griots DA and some pads and i've heard people talking about priming their pads but im not sure what exactly this means? Can i not just apply a few drops of product to a new pad and start polishing?
