The beats are from Metal Fingers' instrumental Vervain. For those of you who don't know, Metal Fingers is one of the many alter egos of DOOM (erst MF Doom). This instrumental was used by MF Doom on the album Mm.. Food for the opening track Beef Rapp. These are the lyrics that I wrote, that happened to sync up perfectly. Yes, I know my production is shit. If anyone wants to help with that, contact me.
Lyrics:
It's the 21st century, tryin' to find the source/
We were promised flying cars and a talking horse/
We only got polymers and hydrocarbons/
Buildin' up from molecules and inter-office jargon/
It's a Chemical world, no way around it/
I'm here to proclaim, lemme hear you resound it/
A scattered applause, too busy drinkin' the sauce/
Reachin' behind for a progressive cause/
Mixin' the words and the music in a second-hand lab/
Come one, come all give it a stab/
The monster I created it risin' up from the slab/
Chemicals, said Chemical, make the world go/
That's why I take it slow, listenin' to the maestro/
Bacchanal, Greek, art history freak/
Come check my wares, give 'em a peak/
I'm atonal, blowin' up like Krakatoa/
Not a schizoid man, but spittin' words like a snowblowa'/
Bent the words with slants, chants like a fiend/
Screen the scene, mush mouthed stream-of-dream/
Gettin' better in my mind as words leave me/
Smooth out the wrinkles like a cuppa Earl Grey tea/
Fleet on my lyrical feet like I was Van Vliet/
Can't shoot me like a skeet, or a black sheep/
I'm a non-violent man with a non-violent plan/
Shield the concept of a culture from the brain scans/
Not a slanderous fellow, watch my liver/
I'm jaundiced and yellow, like the Chinese river/
I'm a giver, distributing lyrical gifts to society/
No one gets short shrift, as long as I got my notoriety/
Into fame liked David Bowie, without the disco beats/
I'm cooking up the poetry like sugary treats/
The kind that your momma used to bake/
Before the pre-made with monosodium glutamate/
Chemically shaded rose-tinted glasses/
Getting futuristic on all your brain's asses/
In 2525, if the world is still alive/
The chemical companies will strive to survive/
And the formulaic rhymes that I spat/
Will be ridin' outta hell, like a bat/
Not risky like a 27 club member/
Givin' thanks on the cusp of November/
I'm here to make sure y'all do too/
Sulu, Kirk, Spock, and all the rest of you/

Lyrics are cool. Shittily mixed. Come on man, there's no talking horse but there's good, cheap mics. Keep rapping.
