Yeah, as I was going down, I remember thinking two things... "WTF!?" and "Get the gun in front of me and keep it pointed down range!!"
That humungous Saiga mag was propped up just right, so when my foot hit it, the other end dug into the sand... and my right hand was down at my waist drawing the gun, so I could regain my balance like I normally would have expected.
I was a bit shaken up for a few minutes, but really none the worse for the wear... just a few scrapes - and a bruised ego!
