boyle river (high water)

boyle river in flood perfect for kayaking and play boating. this was taken tuesday 10/11/09 (there is a nice wave at this water level about 7 meters down river form here but the memory card ran out of memory before i got that far :(

@davyman13 no i didnt get a chance last year but if it gos anywhere near last years levels i will be. low water is grand for first time paddlers but thats about it

@paull84028 i passed it there at the weekend and it was a bit lower, looked good.. would it be deep enough to plug for a loop at lower levels? or is it shallow?

@davyman13 in very low levels no. in medium levels im not sure you might be able in spots but if it is fairly near video hight you can. (most of the time it is low)

best part of this river is upstream under the railway bridge. its called assey lynn or something. this is the river we start our paddlers on as it is very safe.

i did'nt see it since i took the video. i might try to get in and see it tuesday. i dont know how high it was when you where there but maby u could capsize when going under and then roll back or seal launch of the wall

I was in Boyle on 21-Nov-2009 and the water level was so high you couldn't get a kayak under the bridge. Won't be long before the town floods if the rain keeps coming!
