As Rhenoism said, even Japan itself has faster railroads lines than this one.

It is NOT the fastest train in the world. Korea, France, Taiwan, Spain etc has railroads lines faster than 300 km/h. i.e. Spain has 1,647 km of high speed railroads up to 350 km/h (300-350 km/h). Madrid - Seville/Malaga: 550 km 2h30min. Madrid - Barcelona: 600 km 2h35min. Bye ;)

THIS train is the fastest train in the world? The bullet in Korea goes just as fast, if not a km or two per hour faster.
Yeah, little ol' Korea has a train that goes just as fast or even faster than this one. Even Japan itself has a faster train than this one.

We can't judge which is the fastest easily. Actually, japanese Bullet Train is not the fastest in the world at highest speed. TGV marked 574.8km/h and JPN 500 series marked 443km/h. But those high speed trains are build by completely different attitude. JPNESE bullet train have to consider lots of things.(eg, earthquake, noize) Also TGV highest train speed score is completely tuned, but japan used usual train. Also Japanese train is fastest in average speed. So there is no king in train.
