The double sided knife allows you to run both sides of the corners at the same time. You will still need to touch up where vertical corner meets the ceiling after the mud dries. Be sure to keep all edges of mud swiped clean for less sanding. After swiping your edges clean with a 6" knife, there will be a ridge of mud left behind. Leave it alone, it will sand off effortlessly.

  • Thanks a lot! I've been doing handyman work for years and to be honest I HATE plastering corners. I have 3 double edged tools but I have never used them. I've resorted to doing one edge at a time. This will save me a ton of time. Just needed someone to show me the proper way.

  • @verticalhurt Thanks for watching. I'm glad you found the video helpful.

  • I'd hate to do this for a living, it's enough for me to renovate my house.

  • @CoonShoot once you master it...it's not that bad.

  • good video

  • try using a corner roller to apply your mud then use your double knife to wipe it. It is quick, easy and gives you plenty of mud on your corner.

  • I love how even two brothers will do things differently.

  • Thanx for the tip. Pretty handy tool for a rookie like me.

  • clean up what you can while the mud is soft. after it dries scrape off ridges the finish touch up.

  • THANK YOU ... THANK YOU ... THANK YOU

Any chance you have a video showing how to get such clean FIRST lines where the wall and ceiling meet.
