www.youtube.com/facebook When you add a post to Facebook, it's now easier to share where you are. Sharing a location is helpful if you want to meet up with friends, get recommendations, say where something took place or give more details about a good story.

There are many ways to add location to your posts on Facebook. The first is by selecting a city. Let's say you just landed in New York, you type 'New York, NY' in the composer. If you want to be more specific, you can click the location button, and enter the name of the place.

You can also add location to photos, this is helpful if you want to show where something took place. You can upload the photo, click the button, type the location, and post. You can also add location to a photo you have already posted. Go to the photo page, click 'edit,' begin typing the name of the place. If you want to change the city, click 'change,' and type the name of the city.

If you want to remove the location from posts you have already made, or change the name of the place later, you can also go to the post, click 'edit,' and adjust.

On some mobile devices, you can also share location with the 'check-in' button. Whenever you see the check-in button, you can click to share where you are. Start typing the name of the place, select it from the list of options, and click 'post.'

If you don't want to include your location in your post, click the 'X,' and it will remain turned off until the next time that you choose to include your location.
