  • It´s absolutly amazing!!!! Great musicians, Mr Koopman with this wonderful orchestra and Mr Hünteler do an excelent work... congrat

  • Beautiful concerto! I could learn to play the flute just for it.

  • really gooddddd!!! Great Ton,

  • la = 415

  • @reader960000 You are right, it doesn't sound like D minor at modern concert pitch of A = 440 Hz because it is being played on period instruments, including a wooden 1-key simple system traverso, at A = 415, a half-tone lower than today's pitch. You don't need to go out and get a new sound system!

  • @reader960000 It is D minor but there might be a distortion from your speakers I don't know but it sounds like D minor to me??

  • your probably right - can't be modern day flute - all you need to do is try playing along to the recording and you have to pull out the head piece more than an inch to be even roughly in tune - closest i've got is a late 19th century/ early 20th century london made Douglass & Co ebony wooden flute and even that is nowhere near - most likely authentic performance instrument....

  • travierse flute is the one

  • I beg to differ, to me this sounds like it is most likely Wooden Baroque flute.
