Mr. Automatic, Earl Anthony. That's the most emotion I've seen Earl have. Seen him bowl some exhibition matches in Germany in 1983. I still have and use my Ebonite, Earl Anthony Mag 11. He was to bowling as to what Kevin VanDam is to Bass Fishing.
This is really cool to see again. I worked at Red Carpet Celebrity Lanes during this match. I watched it from the far left side. I wonder what ever happened to the place? The general manager at the time was John Kern and the lane manager was Tom Brill. They were nice guys to work for. The place had a killer disco in the middle of it too. Fun place. I will miss it.

Ellenburg was no slouch, either. He was a total legend in the Phoenix.Mesa.Scottsdale area.
He would show up occasionally at Aero Bowl for Sunday pot games, and a soft, but audible groan would echo out amongst us wannabes, lol.

Two tremendous 260+ games by the greatest! You gotta love Earl's wife, Susie kissing him after the victory....she's hot!
