Open Source Lobbying, tips from the trenches

In 2007 The Netherlands became the first western country to have a national policy on the mandatory use of open standards and preferential use of opensource software in all public sector organisations (government, educations, healthcare ...). Having been involved in the process of creating this policy I will share some of my lesson learned about policy hacking. This talk will be an update of my 2007 CCC-talk about the same subject. Many things have happened since then and there are new tales to be told.
