The Witcher 2 - Kayran Boss Fight Hard Walkthrough HD6970 Maxed Out 1600x900

This took me like 10 tries before I finally killed this big monster.
Everything is set to Ultra High settings and on resolution 1600x900, normally I would have it on 1920x1080 but the frame rate was too unbearable - I was getting like 15-20 fps. With 1600x900 I get a decent 25 - 40 fps.

Hard mode is pretty damn hard, I was going to play it on Insane but I think I wouldn't have gotten very far, what with the gameover if you die once thing.
I will try insane after I finish it on hard.

Game of the year so far!

Note: This is definately on Hard. Alot of people think its easy because I'm using the Quen sign which is a shield that nullifies damage. It's that blue electrical thing that goes around Geralt.. If I get hit like 2-3 times, the shield will go away and I will indeed lose health if I get hit.

You can see in the video that I always put the shield on when it runs out.

Wow, that was epic. Are there any boss battles like this in Skyrim? I've sunk 150 hours into Skyrim and the best I've seen so far are dragons, and they're quite easy to fell.

RARGHHHHHHHH I have played it 30 times but haven't been able to get the last part. Was not aware of the platform thing, or the Quen sign :D kept getting squished by flying debris. yay thanks! you're awesome!
