@apulanta13 Isn't it pretty normal for the lyrics in the chorus of a song to make up a large part of that song?

@KlephRenagade brilliant comeback kid...I bet you used up 50% of your brain cells on that one...anberlin sucks :)-~

@rgdajono Boys speak in rhythm and girls in code
doo doo doo doo
doo doo doo doo
Tell it to me straight, give it to me now
Face forward, face forward
All I said is that this song isn't exactly a prime example of creative writing skills. What you just read was practically 1/3 of the song's lyrics. "Boys speak in rhythm and girls in code." Doo doo doo. Maybe I'm simple-minded, but I never saw much in this song.
I said I disliked the lyrics, not that the band sucks. Did you even read my comment?

@apulanta13 No, I completely disagree. I'm thoroughly impressed with how well the words capture a common relationship problem without being mean about it. That's not easy to do. It's also incredibly catchy with exceptional pop sensibility.
Now how about you explain why you dislike the song instead of just saying "they actually suck"? Your comment is pointless without explanation. Don't be a typical Youtube commenter.

best song ever

@apulanta13 a lot of Anberlin's music is meant to be delve into... the lyrics are simple pushes and pulls for you yourself to jump into the idea they're mentioning... think of the lyrics as a conscience whispering unfinished ideas into your head, hoping you'll finish them yourself... By lyrics lacking depth, it actually creates depth in the songs itself...
Though some of their songs (like this one) don't have much to offer, but sound wonderful
