I grew up near Brands Hatch I used to love the roar from the F1 engines on race day. He was my hero back in the 70's.

@RoLLWithITOasis1 Yeah on lap 2 while he lost the clutch on lap 9. A lot of other drivers would have retired or dropped back.

Thanks a lot for the upload! I don't suppose you have the documentary about JHs life that was made in the 2000s? I think it was on Channel 4 a few years back, but that's all I remember, other than it was a very candid look at his life and career and an excellent documentary.

i picked up james hunt when i was a taxi driver in aberdeen scotland he was a real nice genuine man and so down to earth. not at all big headed, which i'm sure celebrities of today could learn from. i count myself lucky to have met him
