@robertjdm Yeah man we still have cats, but most people replace it with a straight pipe to increase power. Then, a couple days before the MOT (an annual mandatory test to prove road worthiness) is carried out you whack the cat back in, pass emissions and remove it after ;)

Love the car an the exhaust sounds bad ass! I own a e46 325i but lookin for an exhaust, I might just do a muffler delete my self

@robertjdm imo the bmw air intake is suchh a rip. its basically a stock intake but its cf. loll. make an account on e90post.com. im a member over there. theres this guy that makes exhaust for our bmws and its SICKKK. ill send a link thro message

Is this not illegal in the US? Are there no emitions tests or anything?

@DjHenno Not sure about everywhere in the US but where I am in Texas it's ok! We just can't remove the catalytic converter. The car passed the emitions test without the muffler but it wouldn't pass without the cats. In the UK you have better fuel then here so I believe you don't have cats on your cars.

@HeBeELR I took mine to a local muffler shop and asked them to cut it off. They did a great job! Charged $150.00 to cut it off and and replace the muffler with pipe.
