Hahaha! I used to work at Build a Bear and I had different "heart ceremonies" for different people. If there was an older person (like yourself) without a kid, it was just something quick like "Rub it on your heart, give it a kiss aaaand we're good!" Sounds like you just had someone who took their job really seriously. Lame :P

lol i work at build a bear in the UK and we're so much more toned down than what you see on all these videos of experiences at build a bear in America.Seriously,we just kinda think its rude to keep pushing and pushing when someone's clearly uncomfortable.

HAHA ok now this is rly funny n reading everyones comments is crackin me up cuz i actually work at BABW and no we're not crazy! just doing our job... lol and i'd just like to say that wen u go to BABW ur in a kids store, we don't care how old u r we're gonna treat u like a kid! lol and we are obligated to perform a heart ceremony with each guest making an animal whether they want to or not we have to try to get u to... lol (but i usually don't do n e thing too embarrassing for the older ppl lol)
