@psychedelicinvasion Actually before the British Invasion in 1964, the 1960's were an extension of the 1950's. Prebeatle sixties is interesting. There was a some doowop between 1960 and 1963. "You Belong To Me" was recorded by the Duprees in 1962. I think, "Runaway," as was recorded in the early sixties too.
