Taming Your Zills: A Roadmap to Becoming Comfortable Dancing with Finger Cymbals

Step 7 introduces some of the more common and useful zill patterns, and how to view them as combinations of single and triple strikes.

This video series is based on my own experiences, and is intended for dancers who have achieved some level of comfort dancing - from intermediate student through professional - and are now trying to add in playing finger cymbals. The series is intended to map out a path of skill building to alleviate the frustration many dancers encounter in this scenario.

"Nihavent Longa" "Leyla" and "Mastika" played by Mike Davis and Joe Teja of Skordalia
