It's Rebecca Black Week!
If you haven't seen her music video, you are definitely missing out. It's the song of our generation! Watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD2LRROpph0
So yeah, sorry for the late videos the last couple of weeks you guys, but Mondays are super crazy for me. And actually I recorded an entire parody song of Friday called Monday. And tried to make a video. But it was really late by the time I got home and the execution was way off. Not to mention the fact that I CANNOT SING FOR MY LIFE. So yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. So I basically just made this after deleting an entire video. Hope it was worth it? Yeah, I know it probably wasn't. OH WELL. TOO BAD.
Also, lately people have taken to spamming our page with comments when someone doesn't post their video early enough. I would just like to say (to the few of you who are still reading) that you can just RELAX. No one is going anywhere, we're all still committed to AGAD. And it's surprising that I even need to say this at this point. I mean we've been around for a year and a half and we've very rarely ever missed a day completely. Sometimes we just need to post late because of life. And yes, real life aways takes priority over making videos on Youtube. I'm not sure some of the subscribers realize that we are real people sometimes. We have things to do (A LOT of things to do in my case), and we only do Youtube voluntarily for you guys. SO APPRECIATE WHAT YOU GET M'KAY. I feel like the few people who this whole rant applies to aren't reading it anyway, so I'll stop now.
I just had a lot of time while this video was uploading. I guess it's because my video is like 5 minutes. Sheesh. I remember when my videos were routinely that long. WHAT WAS I THINKING.
BUT YEAH, isn't Rebecca Black's song THE BEST THING EVER? So thought-provoking.
I thought the Random Rapping Black Man represented Death, in the sense that he is this sort of spectral, adult figure in an otherwise carefree preteen world which to me represents decadence and hubris in youth culture. The 13 year olds seem confident in their dominion over the weekend; this small spinning fragment of school calender driftwood in the endless ocean that is the week which by creation or design, Man has inherited for his will to do things which are far more concurrent.
