Exhibit took place in Toronto Ontario Canada in August 2008. Film edited and produced by Toronto filmmaker Aminder Gill.
Ilene Sova is an emerging young artist based in Toronto Canada working out of Walnut Studios. She paints large scale contemporary portraits which explore issues of women and their importance in society. She is largely interested in creating paintings that are both conceptually and aesthetically charged and engrossing; hoping to provoke thought and discussion around feminist concerns.
