Supra NA-T and 240sx at the track

Friend's supra NA-t with a t61 at 9 lbs, no other mods really. and another friend's 240sx with an sr20 and t28 at 10psi. not bad times for either car. the driver of the 240 had never been to the track before and was just learning to launch the car.

driver does suck. my first time at the track i ran my 240sx with the best time of 14.3 on a sr20det t25 open diff, stock clutch, 12 psi, front mount. my brother took the car and on the first try got a 14.11 on a hot engine. then got kiked out cuz he wasn't the driver. ;D

i had an s14 sr20 with only 285rwhp and i was even with a 12.9 ls2 gto!! this car can get into atleast low 13's with a simple injector upgrade and a tune.

No way hes hitting 12's the way he is right now. 12's would be, injectors, front mount, jim wolf wolf ecu, afc. which shouild be getting him 300-350whp. if hes a good driver, then he will hit twelves. Not not how it is right now. Especailly not if he is only running 10-12 and ran 14.6. But he def. has potential. I like it. Its clean. Good luck.

he has the front mount already, injectors youre probably right on, but i figure it could make 260whp on the stock ones. ive never modded an sr20 really, but its kinda like any car how more boost and good tuning will be quite beneficial. i can tell the factory tune sucks on that thing, it should be moving better than it does.

By the way. I have the t28, ten pounds, stock injectors, three inch d/p and test pipe. Ran 14.9 with kind of a crappy 60ft. So what he ran could improve a few times at the track, it was my first time though.

its just your basic sr20, t28 at 10-12psi, a greddy intercooler is on it, but theres absolutely no tune or anything else really modded on the motor. i personally think he could be breaking into the 12s pretty easily on his setup with just a way of tuning it with a little more boost.
