  • Thanks! Great interview - best recording of this I've heard.

  • @Lil1943 I just had to share it... yw

  • Interesting to hear Ritchie discussing the Black Night riff being Ricky Nelson'd Summertime. Search Summertime, spot on.

  • @Breatherable hehe, he had to, he knows all there is to know about the subject... riffs...

the rest of the band "what was that Richie? oooh, who's a clever boy then", and did it anyway lol

no disrespect intended either, but hey, if your pissed and you've just penned (in your mind) a 'hit single', you're hardly going to say "oh dear, we'll have to start again" are you lol

but yeah, it was a cool fact to search :)

  • God, Ritchie still looks young, looks like some hair dye .NO..... i am not hatin' anyone, just an observation. I am still digging Ian.I loooove The Purple.Their sound is unique to them only, and that makes it cool.

  • @littlequeen64

oh c'mon, hehe, I'm 'almost' that old, 'hair dye' is one of my best friends... muahaha

Since when does an old 'rocker' wanna look 'distinguished' lol
