  • A strange choice for a single... then again, so is "Hypocrite"

  • @smurfblood Great song, but I agree. Split is my favorite album, but I alway thought "Lovelife" should have been a single. "Lit Up" could have been a good choice, too.

  • wow a 12 string? I wouldn't've guessed

  • @Ombrenuit Miki played a 12 string alot. In fact, it was a huge part of their sound. Emma was also an absolute talent on lead guitar. She is very underrated.

  • Hallelujah, at long last, the elusive lost Desire Lines video. It hits me hard, how much I miss Lush, still to this day! 'Split' was their deepest height, their best work IMO. Love how Emma -- o Emma, where are thou? -- is underplaying it as usual, but that very last scene of her only just moving her hand to plunk that last note is perfect.

  • I wanna sing with you... i like

  • strange depressing song but wonderful in it's own way.they seemed such sensitive creatures

  • thank you so much for uploading this 'great lost video. The song and video are such a juxtaposition, it's one of their most beautiful tunes and one that I have had booming out of my speakers many, many times over the last 15 plus years. As I've said on other clips of them, they are the band Ii miss the most and their live shows were an absolute joy...

  • @MrSaranis Think again. The Cure of that period basically just played loops of jam sessions for 7 minutes, with Smith then writing a vocal melody over them. Lush, on the other hand, almost always had their songs written as actual songs, with very neat and often unexpected chord twists.

  • Great tune, great stuff. The early 90's was a fantastic time for creative pop.

  • For me, is like The Cure from Disintegration. Music for contemplate ;)

Great guitars, very nice vocals... After first listen i added this to my favs ;)

  • this is my fav song on the whole album, and invisible man. i cant believe they created such good music!

  • This is defeinately one of the best 7 and a half minutes of music ever written. I can listen to this again and again.

  • @sestubbe than the bends? they are great records but so is the bends.

  • Lush's first two albums were better than Radiohead's first two albums.
