nice fly i was just bothered by how aggressive you tie

@flyfishingtwins I love the prince because it inadvertantly matches a lot of different larvae and can be used like a streamer after dark. It's a super deadly fly when used by knowledgable fishermen and for more than just trout. It is a panfish killer and sweet when white bass are feedind on may fly nymphs over open water or crappie in the same situation. One of my top ten definitely but also effective in ways people don't realize. They will be taken in the right conditions by channel cats.

Nice tye. What vise are you using...???

belive it or not, i caught a 6.5 lbs 27 inch largemouth on this fly... CHECK OUT MY VIDEO!

@cancerkid888 The prince can be tied a number of ways. I do not know why arguing? Heck, bead head prince? Yes, they were big out west in 97.
Most of us tie flies for our own local waters. I think one could use Randall Kaufman's 1975-76 nymph tying manual and fish anywhere.

why must people argue about little things. There are so many different ways to tie prince Nymphs and you could have five different styles in your box and be all the better for it. use his pattern and add it to your arsenal. Use these videos to better your tying and learn new ways to tie what you already know. like the guy said no one wins when you argue on the internet. great fly man! im fixing to sit down and tie that version.

Holy Half Hitches Batman! Learn to whip finish by hand, its faster, stronger, and easy.
-
well it's titled "how to tie A prince nymph" not "how to tie THE prince nymph" so by that argument i win by technicality lol. but as far as internet arguments go, there can be no winners so we both are losers.
-
Then this guy should have titled this video "My version of a Prince Nymph" not - "How to tie a Prince Nymph".

I stated that two weeks ago and I totally agree with you.
You guys are fly fishing snobs. It'll certainly catch a fish. Thats what it's all about.
