You know I was pissed when I started reading this deathwatch journal thinking I was going to hear you tell me when I was done about the evils of the US penal system. My Appologies. I agree with everything you've said. Look at the log of Texas executions below to see a few details of this man's crime. I was also amazed that he spent so much time railing against the "Texas prison system not being devoted to rehabilitation" when he was in that part of the system when he commited his 3rd murder.

Why do they give them a feast before they die? Did they give their victims the opportunity to eat their favorite foods before they were murdered (in some cases young children were raped, tortured)? If they don't want the indignity of being executed, they should have just offered themselves before they got caught. Save taxpayers some money.
