Folks, my uncle that raised me was a moonshiner, I grew up on the real stuff. Moonshine ain't nothing but unaged, corn whiskey made illegally, that's ALL it is. And Georgia Moon is unaged corn whiskey made legally. It's the same thing, ain't nothing "real" or "fake", ain't no difference but taxes. Granted, you can distill stronger moonshine yourself, but hey, stronger don't always mean better, besides, there's Everclear available if ya want pure alcohol. Georgia Moon is good, and I recommend it!

I remember my dad coming home with this stuff. It really was much like drinking $12 vodka.
Left a bad aroma in your nose and a nasty burn in your throat, hahah.
I'll stick my bourbon.

Philde I'm here IN Ga and I'm familiar with the "true" runoff we have here, and it'll definately make your hat go flat and the head holding it up rock back! Better than high test and twice and dangerous, be very wary around the real deal.

Newfoundland Screech! is a lot better and is higher proof. This stuff isnt even 100 proof for christ sakes

nah i aint drank georgia moonshine but ive had real and im sure the real stuff is better if u make it with corn it can get as high as 180 proof ou the still but if u make it with rye itll come out about 140 and rye taste better and if its "about" 100 proof that shit sucks the real stuff is round 120-130 in a mixed batch thats watered down if its real
