  • Picked this up on cassette in the cut-out bin in the mid-80s. Best album they did next to Neruda! Too bad they couldn't maintain that quality for the rest of their career. :(

  • Sweet! So glad this is here. White Hot takes the glory from this song, I think. Everyone knows that one, not this one. Thanks, GordonYYZ.

  • Anyone know who sang Good News, Talkin to Myself and Look Out Again. It certainly isnt Tom Cochrane. Is it the keyboard player Peter Boynton?

  • Someone oughta put this on wikipedia, but I finally found out bassist Jeff Jones age for all that it matters. He was born in 1951 in Toronto, Ontario. Tom Cochrane was giving an interview and he mentioned everyone in the band was 26 at the time of Dont Fight Its release, except Jeff, who was 28. I would put it on myself, but wikipedia confuses the hell outta me.

  • two people wouldnt know good music if it came and bit them on their asses!!!!!

  • Makes me feel , in the 80's , lying on my bed, playing records all day long. So sweet.

  • Would love to see some live concert footage. They put on a great show especially in the smaller venues

  • I had this on 8 track tape

  • Tom Cochrane should have been a really big star.....Great song from too far back...but still sounds great.....Hurry up summer!!!!!

  • Thanks GordonYYZ!

  • It is priceless and Cochrane's lyrics are near genius. Those were really the good times, jump in your car, pop in the cassette, turn your stereo up loud, roll the windows down and go for a cruise. Get out of your house, get out there, feel good and sing to the lyrics. Rick Ocasek with the CARS was amazing as well....The album Drive. You have to have it.

  • can these guys write great lyrics or what...whole album still an undiscovered jewel.
