Whilst other celebrities use planes and helecopters, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip simply take the train, arriving fairly informally at London's Waterloo station to make their way to the platform on 18th November 2011. Well done them!
The day the Queen and Prince Philip caught the train to Guildford. First port of call was Guildford Cathedral to attend a Service of Thanksgiving for the 50th Anniversary of its Consecration.
A similar journey was made on the actual Consecration Day 17 May 1961.
In attendance besides the Queen & Prince Philip was the late Princess Margaret & the then Mr Antony Armstrong-Jones.
She's lovely....
