  • He quit writing because of the negative reviews his second book got. That book took tremendous effort, and he knew he could not do better, ever! He did not want to be a Rock God. But he did like making something "happen". He dislikes a group of people sitting doing nothing memorable, so that wasd his job, to get them to do...something! He did NOT turn millions onto LSD! He never even gave LSD to the people at the ACID TESTS! Ken does not claim LSD made him a better writer, just helped details.

  • Yes, he thought up the Chief on drugs, but the words were his. Then you think because Ken cam up with the "Chief" I dea that he then feels he needs to save everyone else?? WHAT, really?? He did not think Acid gave him this career, it awas a small tool, an inspiration, like any inspiration. It did give him better ability to write about the hallucinations the Chief was having. Why di you think you get to say what Ken thinks when you are always this wrong??

  • What a terrible name for a book! Ken never wanted to be a "Christ"! Autumns End is the name of the book. He did not start an LSD ministry to save the world. The Save the world thing was ONE joke that became the "theme" of a prankster trip to the coast to see the tsunami from an Alaska earthquake. It was a joke...do your homework! Right...Ken was not creative in Cuckoo's Nest, he just wrote down peoples words, give me a break.
