Jorge Negrete sings a popular song ME HE DE COMER ESA TUNA with the support of Trio Calaveras. They acted in many films together. The female singer is AMANDA DEL LLANO.
Jorge Alberto Negrete Moreno, was born November 30, 1911 in Guanajuato, Mexico and died at the early age of 42 in Los Angeles, California. He was very active between 1932 until he died of Hepatitis in December 5, 1953. Handsome, with a very strong will and a trained, fascinating voice, he is still a top idol in Mexico, Spain and Latin America, more than 50 years after his death. His best recording was "Mexico Lindo y Querido." He and Pedro Infante were close friends. His marriage with Maria Felix was explosive so he lived more time with his beloved Gloria Marin. Together they co-starred many films. He started singing as a tenor in some operas, but, he then changed to the more popular RANCHERAS. He made about 44 films. His most famous film is probably "El Penon de las Animas." with Maria Felix. But, I prefer "¡Ay Jalisco, No Te Rajes!" We offer this video clip for the enjoyment of future generations.

@latinosomos: Esa canción no se llama "Guadalajara" sino "Me He de Comer esa Tuna"; y el compositor de "Guadalajara" no es Tito Guizar sino su hermano Pepe.
