Yes, it is actually the same, the full name being "Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande". ;-)
And the other Pichon is the "Pichon Longueville Baron".

On the steak front, I'm with Gary. If from the UK so its known as blue or blue rare here. But I love my steak to 'bleed'. Little bit of random info for you, what comes out is not blood its actually Myoglobin not Haemoglobin.

QOTD: Garlic - Salt - Pepper - on a very hot grill (charcoal - not gas!) It comes out crisp on the outside, and red in the middle.
