There are many references to 'intuition' in Twin Peaks. Throwing rocks at bottles to deduce who did it? Irrational and absolutely unscientific. On the other hand it makes absolute sense if you keep in mind: a) the unconscious mind knows a lot more than we think we know, and b) our unconscious mind can control how we throw a rock. Take for example I Ching divination through coin tossing.
