Totally disagree with you there, Have you ever been to Ashton-Hayes. Have you ever had the chance to meet the project manager and spend a day with him, ever had an interview with the professor backing up the project with technical support? and if you have you'd know the answer to your questions. Mainly the residents have funded this project and believe it or not one houses in the village is now generating so much power the energy companies are paying them to export it to them.

Yeah definitely - this is propaganda promoting that man-made global warming is causing the problems when it is a total lie. Who do you think funds these kinds of projects ? and why do you think schools and councils are cooperating so well and where is all this money coming from when there is a recession on. This smells of Common Purpose

The Optimum Population Trust want to reduce the UK population to 30 million. When you hear the term 'sustainability' it translates as population reduction. Eugenics. You'll pay carbon taxes (i.e. tax on breathing e.t.c.). Carbon is one of the major life giving gases. Shame they are not including sustainabiity in the plan as well with food production etc as in the Transition network philosophy

We need more initiatives like this but major industries like car manufacturing must take greater steps to utilise fuels that dont harm our environment too : ) Well done to all at Ashton Hayes. PearlyCarole sent me.

This would be good rolling out all over the UK. Better than all the pandering to select dinosaur industries like airlines as does the Government. Gordon Brown is Dirty Brown. Mind you all career politicians are followers, not leaders always working at and with the lowest levels.
