  • Batteries?! Doesnt it have a accu?! Chargeble batterie inside it? Like the canon ones?

  • @FrietjeM It uses AA. Includes AA Alkaline 1-time-use. You can buy inexpensive AA NiMH rechargeable batteries including the low discharged NiMH like Sanyo's Eneloop. They last pretty long. If you want this camera with Li-ion, we just introduced the HS30EXR which will be shipping in March (uses Li-ion) batteries.

  • @fujiguys Just was going through your review of the HS20EXR when i saw this comment. I have one question. Here you have mentioned that HS30EXR will be shipping in March. Can you please tell me will it be available in India? I feel you are the right guys to answer this question. Thanks.

  • @esselp If the HS20EXR is available in India, i can't see why the HS30EXR would not be available. It depends on the market and if the HS20EXR did well, i am sure they would bring in the HS30EXR to the market too.

  • @fujiguys Thanks for your reply. Currently I am saving money to purchase either the HS20EXR or if it comes to India - the HS30EXR. I love the HS20EXR functions which are useful for my photographic use. I did read of HS30EXR good features on the fujifilm website and it looks tempting as well. My only concern regarding the HS30EXR is the overall life of the battery that comes with the camera. For how many years can one approximately use the li-ion battery

  • @esselp It depends on how heavy your usage it however with typical Li-ion batteries, they can last for 2-3 years before you notice the battery performance declining.

  • Y U NO DOCTOR

  • @fujiguys Thanks for your reply. My main concern regarding li-ion batteries was about it supply in the long run. While I might use once or twice a month, most of the photos I intend to take would be in the raw + jpeg format.

  • @fujiguys Ok thanks for the answer! I'm certainly going to buy the HS20
