First part of the short animation I've been working on. Not ILM quality, but then I'm not getting that type of money. No money, if fact. This is the result of about 28 hours of rendering on an x64 quad core 8800 PC with 8 Gb of ram.

Models are all mine except the battleship, which is a converted Sketchup model made by Grahf at the StarDestroyer BBS. Most should be vailable for download from my website for free at Kennyscrap.com

Music is the excellent 'Enterprising Young Men' written by Michael Giachinno, but will probably change when I make the finished animation. Something more warlike with lots of drums and low notes if I can find the right thing.

    This looks very impressive.

Is the music licensed in a way that makes it easy to use for this sort of thing?

Unfortunately, no license. In the past I have noticed that lots of credits to the music owner/creator usually leads to them putting an ituunes shortcut to where to buy the music instead of an immediate takedown. I intend to replace it anyway, something like Mars from Holsts Planet suite or similar warlike portentious music. The rest of the animation will probably be a short battle, so that would suit.
