Sydney, Australia: My First Day in the City

Sydney is the largest city in Australia, with a metropolitan area population of approximately 4.3. It is the state capital of New South Wales. Sydney is situated on Australia's south-east coast. The city is built around Port Jackson, which includes Sydney Harbour, leading to the city's nickname, "the Harbour City". It is noted for the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, and its beaches. The metropolitan area is surrounded by national parks, and contains many bays, rivers and inlets.

This video covers my first day in Australia as I take a walk from my hotel in the center of the city down to the harbour. During my walk I visit Hyde Park, Archibald Fountain, ANZAC War Memorial, Royal Botanic Gardens, Government House, Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay and the Harbour Bridge.

What the fuck are you talking about? How can anyone take your opinion seriously when you spout rubbish? Memphis (picked somewhere close to you) has a much higher rate of crime than Sydney. Not per capita, but TOTAL crime. 3rd worst in the US for violent crime. For a city 1/4 the size of Sydney that's a little embarrassing. Median household income in Sydney (not average) is 2.5 times Memphis. Memphis is also terribly polluted with an AQI more than twice that of Sydney (psst... higher is bad).
