well she wasnt entirely useless:

1.) without her kh2 would be crappy

2.) she gave roxas a reason to fight for kh

3.) she was sort of storage for namine

4.) she carried kairi in the part of the game tht didnt need her

5.) xion was able to make the first stand against the organization from the inside.. (tht actually helped SORA and not Herself)

6.) xemnas needed her

This game was so much darker than its three predecessors. In those games, there was constantly an air of wonder, happiness, and adventure--even though your friends were missing, you were still on the track to finding them.

This game just has sadness in the air the entire time, and it really comes to a head at the end. It's one of the bleakest E-rated games I've ever played..

I think that this theme is much better than any from BBS. Although BBS might be better game than Days in many areas, BBS’ weakest point was the characters' themes. Xion’s theme has a structure like Roxas’ and has allusions to Kairi’s. However, unlike Ventus’ theme, which seems redundant, too familiar and even unoriginal (sorry, but I had to) because of the long-lasting incorporations of Sora and Roxas’ themes, Xion’s theme still seems original because the chord progression is very different.
