@nelandquinten Missed your first bit - it's not uncommon to use different shots of the same action to extend the chase - in "Bullitt"", they took each car over the jump once, then used footage from outside and inside each car twice. And, in "Bullitt", the Dodge loses like six hubcaps - four off the driver's side.
anyone else notice that at 1:05 he passes in front of a green truck and avoids a red car, and then he does the same thing with the same cars again at 1:26?
definitely a strange ending to a car chase (two way road > one way bridge?) but still incredibly choreographed for it's time and pays homage to many car chases in American cinema :D
remembering seeing this movie when I was only 8 years old on TBS. After that day, I asked my parents for a R129 die cast model =D
