Resurrect Lydia in Skyrim [PC]

I'd clicked on Lydia several times during the experimentation. I'm sorry to say I spent about half an hour in this cave trying all the different strategies to resurrect her I could find. Unfortunately none of them worked.

It would seem that clicking on her wasn't bringing up her ID. I tried to click on her face, her arms, her body. I tried removing her armor and clicking on her, I tried dragging her all around the cave. Though I naturally didn't record half an hour of my failing to resurrect her I found through Googling I wasn't the only one with this issue. Since I saw that others had the same problem I did I made this video so that hopefully if anyone else couldn't get her ID to show up properly this would help out. :)

For those wondering how I appeared to be able to get her ID to pop up in the video:

I actually couldn't click on her. You'll hear I stutter a bit in the narration when I notice her ID pop up. What had happened was I clicked on her and got the wrong ID, the one with the 8s in it.

I wanted to be sure I got the command right so while in the console I attempted to scroll up with the mousewheel which started scrolling through IDs. I hadn't known it could do this until about halfway through the video, thus the confused pause. I assume it is a way to get IDs of your target if your mouse clicking is failing, which is great to know now. :)

Unfortunately I still have been completely unable to get her ID from clicking her after much murder for the purposes of Science, however this scrolling thing seems to be a viable option in such a situation.

You know, Instead of typing the code in, You can just click her corpse after you've brought the console up,

You should see her name and her code come up on screen once you click her, Afterwards just type resurrect

you simply have to select lydia while you're in the console then all of your commands affect her
