Im sorry to say, there can never be true peace, never. Because look at it this way, you have two dogs, barking at each other, they hate each others guts, maybe their son or daughter were killed by the other "dog" - So what do you do? You build huge walls and fences and block the contact between those "dogs", send them to different schools, different shops, even different buses... And if you replace the word dog with Irish Nationalist / """""Northern"""" Irish Loyalist you'll get the lovely "NI".
