Sean, arguably the youngest devotee of His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, performed on national TV variety show!
Also featured in the show is Kechara Soup Kitchen.
Kechara Soup Kitchen is inspired by His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, the Spiritual Advisor to Kechara House.
As a young child, Tsem Rinpoche was often hungry and after years of physical and emotional abuse, he ran away from home when he was 15 years old. He made a harrowing journey across the United States, from New Jersey to Los Angeles. Cold, alone and with no money. Since this experience, Rinpoche has always donated food to the poor and encouraged others to do the same.
A group of Rinpoche's students decided to start distributing food in the centre of Kuala Lumpur. Being mindful and respectful of others' beliefs, KSK is strictly non-religious and does not discriminate in terms of race or culture. Our food is always halal for this reason also.
As this group grew, we began to realise that we had to be more structured in order to be more efficient. Therefore, a working core committee of volunteers was formed, which organises allocation of volunteers for KSK's routes, the packing of food etc.

Its neat that KSK is featured in this program. I believe it is the only Buddhist organization arm that I know is on TV. This shows the commitment and drive of Kechara House's members to benefit others

Little Sean is really not too bad with his singing. Hope he grows up to use his talent to benefit many.

By the way she is also the co-editor for the book if not now when. She's such a remarkable lady to be able to do all these! I heard she is one of Rinpoche's liasions too!

I'm a member there too. There's a lot of intresting characters there. It's fun interacting with people who share about their problems out in the open and how readily they are when it comes to accepting advice. Not your average forum.

I think they have a forum too. It's a great place to communicate and share. It also acts like a support group for people intrested in Rinpoche's teachings but have no avenue to dicuss about it: tsemtulku(dot)com/Forum
