  • Love the interplay with the glider - very cool.

  • @CurbsideColumn I think a lot of times, commercial mimic things of the popular or cool things of the day. I know that in the movie about the same time, "The Thomas Crown Affair" there's a scene with Steve McQueen flying a glider. It's a pretty neat scene and can be found on youtube. I'm thinking this might be why you see it in the Chrysler ad about the same time.

  • Awesome commercial, makes it not seem so long ago!!!

  • It really doesn't seem so long ago and the commercial itself seems very modern for the time. :O)

  • i have a 1968 crysler 300 all factory still in good shape

  • The voiceover and the music reeeeeeeek of the 60's! LOVE IT!

  • man, there is a gorgeousn black 68 300 440 with a black vinyl top for sale in the US for only 11,500. To me, I'm only 24, and I'd rather have one of these then a 70 Challenger. I just love the look, the feel of these cars. And Idk where they get their numbers from. I swear a 440 300 does a quarter in like 14.

  • Underappreciated and undervalued. These were beautifully-styled Chryslers with the same power as the Chargers, et al. Find a convertible!

  • favorite car right there

  • In a contest pitting Chuck Norris against William Conrad's voice in a battle to the death, my money would be on Conrad.

  • looks like a galaxy 500

  • I owned one about 20 years back. My first "second car"..I was 29 and thought I could afford another car. I always wanted a 300. Brakes were crap and it hated to start. I sold it for much less than I paid. It was a hoot to drive, however...even w/bad brakes.
