You haters need to read Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel's autobiography. This isn't the house of Dior, so you can stop pretending you have any idea that you know fashion. Another fantastic collection Karl!! Couture hasn't looked hotter, and wearable in decades than it does today! Karl knows how to mold tweed, the way Coco did, to make it look different, and timeless. The mission of Chanel people, is for women to be able to pull those pieces out from their closet, and still be fashionable years from now!

Karl did an outstanding job in this collection. It's both modern and wearable and has elements of Coco's sprit.

@davidlittlejohns In my humble opinion, haute couture FASHION SHOWS is only a platform for a fashion house to show what they are capable of doing. So, yes, not all outfit is all comfortable to wear.

But the TRUE meaning of haute couture is about translating clientele's demand and execute the perfect dress for them, so i think wearability is applied here.

I have tried hard to put myself in the mindset where I can understand and appreciate the forms of haut couture. Being a man I see it from a different perspective. I love fashion and the contours of a woman's body and to me this type of fashion is a direct clash with the natural harmonics of the human body. They can barely walk in most of these. There's a suffocating and restricting resonance here. Can someone give me an inspired take on what this means to them?

There are two types of Haute Couture for me. There's the stunning, alternative and creative works which are not the most wearable, of the likes of Christian Lacroix for example, and then there's this amazing wearable, stylish, sleek and fashionable couture from the likes of Chanel. I love both, they're both spectacular in their own ways!
