NAIT NewsWatch - Hula Hoop Fitness - NEWS FEATURE

Aired December 18, 2010, ACCESS Channel 9.

During our third semester in the TV broadcasting program at NAIT we had to do two features -- one entertainment feature and one news feature. This is my news feature. I pitched the story idea, set up interviews, conducted the interviews, wrote and voiced the script, and also shot and edited the entire package.

The story is about Dreena Guptill and her battle with obesity -- and how hula hooping and her loving husband, has put her on the path to a better life.

I really loved this story! I loved working with Dreena and her husband and I loved the final product I was proud of my work and I ended up winning the NAIT Best 3rd Semester Television Videography award with this piece! :)
