I just tried all ten. Only the two from 2006, "Nesting Barred Owl - gets meal from Mate", and "2006 Owl Season - Last Exit", have sound.

For some reason, my uploads never include the sound???

Just that I can't hear the little beggars.

Not Broken. Why does it look broken? It has drain holes and cross hatching. It is under the layer of clutter.

Nice.
What happened to your new floor mike?
I hope it's not broken.

I don't cage any birds. All the birds are wild. I provide boxes (with tv cameras) that are similar to any bird house, but are large. The opening is 8 inches in diameter. Putting a bird in a cage is not my thing. It is completely up to the birds to use or ignore my nesting boxes. We feel honored that they trust us and voluntarily share their life with us.

@101BigDream
The parents return to the box in the winter, and start nesting in mid january, by may they are moving the owlets into the woods. Training them to hunt. The owlets move out to their own areas, and the parents return the next winter to start all over. I suspect the parents are always within a mile of our nest box all year round.
