Dave's Deck -A God thing.

Dave's Deck-A God Thing. When my son was diagnosed with terminal colon & bone cancer, the men from his church (Grandview Assembly of God, Grandview MO. & his cousin Kenny) decided to give him a priceless gift...his dream deck. He had the design...so with Dave's plan in hand, they flew into action. They worked fast & furious, donating labor & materials to give Dave his deck. It added precious time to his life, and oh the joy! He (We) spent every possible moment there, soaking up Gods Nature, loving, crying, & laughing, as Dave did his "Cucumber Cell Phone" routine, sharing his wonderful humor until the end. Dave's now enjoying God's Nature, up close & personal, but I shall never forget those moments, when time seemed suspended...briefly..but oh how we all treasured it. My daughter-in-law Pam, knew how important this deck was to Dave, she felt an urgency to get it built, and put in the order, regardless of the cost, and God took it from there. What a awesome thing, to watch God's work being deliverd by these beautiful men. How do you thank someone for the gift of added moments, with your dying child?
I shall always be grateful, first to my God, to Pam, & to each one of those men, & their families, and to all who gave wings to this God-Gift to Dave, to his family, and friends. Some of you, I know, some I've never met...but I know your hearts...and I love you!
