9500 Liberty: Moms with a Mission

This scene introduces two of the main characters in 9500 Liberty, Elena Schlossberg and Alanna Almeda. They are stay-at-home moms from Prince William County, Virginia who created the blog antibvbl to counter the misinformation and anti-immigrant rhetoric surrounding the county immigration resolution passed in 2007. The blog became a place for getting information, sane discussion and organizing a resistance.
