This is my first original heavy Metal Riffs I put on Youtube over 6 years ago. I appreciate all of your comments. If this is the first video of mine that you have seen, please be sure to check my newer videos. Hit *Subscribe* if you want to keep updated on my newest videos that I make.

Before you say "Omg this is Metalcore, not Metal," Metalcore is a genre of metal first of all. Second of all, I put Metal Riff because this can be a variety of genres such as Melodic Death Metal, and yes Metalcore. Keep in mind this is just one guitar riff, you can't just assume it's a certain genre without other surrounding elements.

As of now, I honestly don't think this riff is anything special. It's pretty much a generic warm-up riff. If you say it's good, I'll agree with you. If you say it sucks, I'll also agree with you. This riff is old as hell, so I'm indifferent to the like/hate comments, so hate away if you must.

My guitar was tuned to drop C (somewhere close to there at least... might be a little flat) at the recording of this riffing, though my melodic death metal band plays in drop B.

My Equipment:

Guitar=Schecter Omen 6

Amp=15 Watt Marshall Combo MG15CD

Amp Settings= Gain all the way up, Treble all the way up, Bass 3/4 up, and
Middle/Contour all the way down.

Camera=Kodak V550 EasyShare

Pedal=Digitech Metal Master (Although I am not using it in this video, but the pedal is great for an awesome metal sound.)

My riffs are being put together for songs in my band, so they are not up for grabs. I am just looking for your feedback! Thanks again, and remember to rate/comment/subscribe!
