Arwen's Song was originally intended for her vision of Eldarion with Aragorn but was bumped by Twilight & Shadow by Renee Fleming.
Sissel recorded a song that was intended for the Houses of Healing which was bumped to find a spot for the orphaned Arwen's Song. (Sissel's song can be heard toward the end of the ROTK EE Fan Credits and on the CR-ROTK, The Last Debate.) I suspect this was a favor for Liv Tyler.

Extended is the best, though the books are better, especially SPOILER when the hobbits return to the Shire and save it from Saruman, who doesn't die in the book Two Towers but in ROTK. In the Fellowship they showed something similar to what happened when Frodo looked in the water mirror, but it's not the same. :)

@angelie1998 No she doesnt die, in the book (and extra scenes of the movie) you learn that when she killed the Nazgûl king, the sickness (I don't remember what its called) they produced almost killed her, but Aragorn, being the king, was able to save her... (it has something to do with the king's healing hands)... anyways, she almost died, aragorn saved her, thus proving he was the real king, and that's when she met Faramir and lived happily ever after...
