  • How do you deal with potential contamination when pumping wort after it's been somewhat chilled? Do you sanitize the pump and lines beforehand?

  • @jsamuels84 I pump near-boiling wort through the system. This sanitizes the system with heat. Good enough for me. (-:

  • I'm having trouble seeing the recirc-out in your picture in the very beginning. Can you describe how you designed that? And does it whirlpool well enough that it concentrates your trub in the middle? Or is this solely to aid in cooling?
